Since i left school in 1999, i have been fabricating and welding stainless steel for the dairy, food and beverage industries. I have always had a passion for photography and now my dream is becoming a reality.
Linda Thomas Eco Design
I arrived early to recce the location before Linda (designer), her family and Nina (model) were due to arrive.
The weather was overcast with constant rain. Thank God I spent the extra money on the camera and lens, which were wet all day.
The location however was unbelievable, and I am now struggling to avoid suggesting it to every client for their shoot.

No not the hugely successful song from the Arctic Monkeys but the rather mediocre storm that swept through the UK today.
I woke to my 6am alarm, grabbed a green tea and some breakfast biscuits and headed for a sunrise at Portland Bill. I drove over the brow of the hill looking towards the lighthouse and momentarily lost my breath as i could see the huge swell out at sea prompting waves to batter our coast line. There was to my surprise at least 10 of us down here, some braver than others. With my waterproof pack loaded i set out around the bill for a quick recce looking for spots to shoot a fresh composition. I looked for spots that tried to capture the bill and some waves coming in. I found a nice sheltered spot looking towards the lighthouse and managed to get a few shots in between getting soaked by crashing waves and a constant salty mist.
After about a couple of hours i thought it was best to pack up, dry off and head home to see the Mrs and have a little nap. The exhilaration and excitement coupled with a serious lack of sleep the night before had caught up on me.
I was delighted to be asked by Jade from Jadedare online clothing boutique, to go on a photoshoot to advertise her new range of slogan t-shirts available now on her site.
It was such a fun shoot and we will be working again soon in the future no doubt.

Who doesn't like visiting the Jurassic coast in Dorset.
I am lucky enough that this famous landmark, Durdle door is only 45minutes from my house. I visited here the other night to try and get the last Milky way shot of the year and was just in time to catch the sunset, and the final light at this special place.
