A Cornish wedding for two

Tregulland cottage, vintage cream tea’s and Tuscan inspire dance floor.

Perched on the edge of Bodmin Moor stands Tregulland cottage and barn. Within easy reach of the Atlantic coast it plays the perfect host to Cornwall’s best-kept secret for intimate summer weddings. (No, that wasn't’ AI and yes I did scrape through English at school.)

Andy and Dan travelled all the way down from Stoke, bringing with them the closest of family. Everyone was changed into their ‘smarts’ and congregated downstairs where A+D finished getting ready infront of an audience. With just the couple and their mums left, we made our way over to the cutest little ceremony room. Such a lovely, emotional ceremony, hosted by Cornwalls finest registrars was then followed by the obligatory confetti run with their dog.

With the champagne popped, and afternoon drinks in full spring, guest relaxed in the sun. Everyone was then invited to sit for an afternoon tea, and some heart felt speeches including many tears. Some more chill time followed and we went off for a few portrait photos. I got the drone in the air soon after for a large group shot, and we made our way inside for a family quiz.

BBQ time followed the quiz as the evening courtyard was set, and Gemma played in all the guests with her beautiful solo act.

An evening listening to Gemma play as the sun set behind the house ensued, whilst A+D cut the cake and then had a last dance together.

My job was to get the candid, documentary moments which is my absolute, favourite brief. Here is just a few of how the day turned unfolded. I took many many photos, here’s just a small selection..
